CORNISH ORIGINS

Founded by Cornish creative Dave Matthews

Following many years in the marketing industry both in the UK and Europe where design, imagery and creative communications were at the core of his work, Dave has since returned to his roots here in Cornwall.

Very much a 'Cornish European' following almost two decades in Germany and Switzerland he is extremely passionate about Cornwall and the preservation of its beauty, traditions and heritage.  Some folks in the county will know him socially and competitively from the world of Cornish Pilot Gig rowing, whilst others as an accomplished landscape photographer, graphic designer, illustrator and fine art printing. In the last two years he has added garden landscape design and visualisation to his services which frequently involves him actually building it as well! Cornish Origins, just like the world we live in, is always evolving but creativity and design will always be at its core. So, not only the source of beautiful landscape/ garden design and construction services, the product range and shop is a collection of beautiful illustrations and stunning photographic fine art prints. Jack of all trades you might think? All things creative... more like!

Most of the image based products are likely to be low volume productions, many with bespoke

or personalised options. Some may even be random, original creations and therefore unique, one-off pieces not to mention some artistic garden pieces in the making.
