ABOUT
CORNISH ORIGINS
Founded by Cornish creative Dave Matthews
Following many years in the creative industry both in the UK and Europe where design, imagery and communications were at the core of his work, Dave has since returned to his roots here in Cornwall.
Very much a 'Cornish European' following almost two decades in Germany and Switzerland he is extremely passionate about Cornwall and the preservation of its beauty, traditions and heritage. Some folks in the county will know him socially from the world of Cornish Pilot Gig rowing, whilst others as an accomplished landscape photographer or for his graphic design, illustration and fine art printing services. More recently he has added garden landscape design and visualisation to his services which usually incorporates actually building it as well, especially in the Summer! More info and photos coming soon.
Cornish Origins is still evolving since it's conception a couple of years ago. As mentioned it is now also the source of beautiful landscape garden design and construction whilst the product range is a collection of beautiful illustrations and stunning photographic fine art prints.
Most of the image based products are likely to be low volume productions, many with bespoke
or personalised options available upon request. Some may even be random, original creations and therefore unique, one-off pieces not to mention artistic garden pieces.

Summing up, Dave is a versatile, individual designer for your garden makeover, a bespoke image, a stunning landscape picture or abstract to enhance your walls or a graphic designer for your business needs. Not to mention some creative merchandise with unique, personalised options and a touch of Cornishness!
